Technical Supervisor at Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers

Are you an experienced technician who enjoys combining hands-on problem-solving with leadership and operational planning?

As our new Technical Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily technical operation and development of Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers.

You will lead and coordinate a skilled team of four technicians while remaining close to the practical work. From preventive maintenance and energy optimisation to urgent technical issues, you will help ensure that our guests and colleagues experience a safe, comfortable and well-functioning hotel environment. The role reports to the Technical Manager.

Your role

You will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the technical department and ensuring that maintenance, repairs and technical projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, prioritising and coordinating daily tasks, staffing and resources for a team of four technicians.
  • Monitoring critical technical installations, including HVAC, CTS/BMS, electrical systems, emergency power and UPS, plumbing, fire safety systems, elevators and automatic doors.
  • Coordinating external contractors and service partners and ensuring that completed work meets agreed standards, legal requirements and safety regulations.
  • Supporting the Technical Manager with budgets, purchasing, service agreements and larger maintenance and renovation projects.
  • Monitoring energy and water consumption and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Maintaining accurate technical documentation and keeping working hours, staffing and schedules updated in Quinyx.
  • Supporting safety briefings, technical training and the continued development of the team.

You will work closely with colleagues across Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Sales Management and Security. Together, you will ensure a consistently high level of service throughout the hotel.

Are we a perfect match?

  • Have at least five years of experience with the technical operation of larger buildings, hotels, hospitals or similar facilities.
  • Have experience leading technical employees and coordinating external contractors and suppliers.
  • Are comfortable working hands-on while also planning, documenting and following up on tasks.
  • Can remain calm, set priorities and make sound decisions when operations are under pressure.
  • Understand that technical excellence directly supports both the guest experience and your colleagues’ working environment.

Experience from a hotel or another operation that runs around the clock will be an advantage.
